About

Both sides of the falls, one place.

BestNiagaraFalls is a trip planning utility for visitors to Niagara Falls — covering the Canadian side, the American side, and everything needed to move between them with confidence.

Why this site exists

Most Niagara Falls travel guides pick one side and go deep. Visitors arrive with half the picture — they learn about Table Rock but not Terrapin Point, about Clifton Hill but not Goat Island, about the Maid of the Mist but not Niagara City Cruises. Then they hit the Rainbow Bridge and wonder what the wait time is.

BestNiagaraFalls was built to fix that. Every attraction, restaurant, hotel, and parking lot is labelled by side. Border wait times update live. Currency conversion is always visible. Whatever you're planning, you get both shores of the falls on one map.

What makes it different

Both sides covered equally
We don't treat one country as the 'other side'. Canada and USA get equal billing — every filter, every map, every card.
Real-time border intelligence
Rainbow Bridge and Lewiston-Queenston wait times, updated every five minutes. Plus live USD/CAD exchange rates so you always know what a price really costs you.
Hand-verified location data
Every coordinate is cross-checked against Google Maps and the operator's own website. No scraped-and-forgotten guidebook data.
Direct links to book
Hotels route to Booking.com. Restaurants route to OpenTable. Tours route to GetYourGuide or the operator directly. No middleman, no upsells.

How we gather information

Attraction data is hand-curated from official sources — Niagara Parks, the New York State Park system, the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission, Niagara Falls Tourism (ON), Destination Niagara USA, and the operators themselves. Prices, hours, and seasonality are reviewed regularly; anything that can move (wait times, fireworks schedules, exchange rates) is pulled live.

We publish information for general travel planning, not as a guarantee. Always confirm key details — prices, operating dates, border policies — with the operator before you travel. We flag this clearly in our Terms of Use.

How this site is funded

BestNiagaraFalls is free to use. The site is supported by two things:

  • Affiliate commissions — when you book a hotel, reserve a table, or buy a tour ticket through one of our links, we may earn a small commission from the partner at no extra cost to you.
  • Display advertising — a handful of ad slots on some pages, kept to a minimum so they don't get in your way.

Affiliate relationships never influence what we recommend. We prioritise attractions and operators that visitors consistently rate well and that we can stand behind.

Who we are

A small team that visits the falls often and got tired of cross-referencing five websites every time. BestNiagaraFalls launched in 2026 as the travel utility we wished existed.

We're independent and not affiliated with Niagara Parks, any government agency, or any specific tour operator.
