🎆
New Year's Eve Fireworks
Thursday, December 31, 2026

Epic midnight fireworks over the falls. Huge crowds — arrive early and dress warmly.

💡 Tip: Nightly summer fireworks (typically 10 PM, May through October) are confirmed by Niagara Parks. Specific dates for the full schedule are released in April each year — bookmark niagaraparks.com before your trip.

📍 Best Viewing Spots

Canada
Table Rock Welcome Centre Terrace

Closest unobstructed view of the Horseshoe Falls display. The falls are illuminated simultaneously.

💡 Arrive by 9:30 PM to secure a spot. Crowds thin after the first 5 minutes.
USA
Prospect Point or Goat Island

Best angle on the American Falls fireworks display. Luna Island gives a unique dual-cascade perspective.

💡 Prospect Point gets very crowded. Goat Island is quieter but farther from the main display.
🌉 Crossing Mid-Show
Rainbow Bridge (during the show)

The only place where you see both the Canada-side Horseshoe Falls display and the US-side American Falls display simultaneously.

💡 Border crossing during fireworks is dramatic but requires valid passport/NEXUS. Check border wait times first.
