Canada side — Niagara Parks lots
Falls Lot ($25-$35 CAD/day)
Right above Table Rock, directly facing the Horseshoe Falls. 30-second walk to the brink. Premium price for premium location. Fills first on busy days — by 9:30 am on summer Saturdays. Open 6 am to midnight.
Floral Showhouse Lot ($25-$35 CAD/day)
5-minute walk south of Table Rock along the parkway. Same price as the Falls Lot but slightly less crowded. Good combination if you want to see the Floral Showhouse.
Murray Hill Lot ($20-$25 CAD/day)
On the bluff above the Skylon Tower. 7-10 minute walk down to Table Rock (steep return uphill). Slightly cheaper, often has space when Falls Lot is full.
Rapidsview Lot ($5 CAD/day) ⭐ Best value
Far south end of the Niagara Parkway. Includes the free WEGO Red Line shuttle to Table Rock and Clifton Hill — runs every 20 min, takes 10 min. Same operator (Niagara Parks) as the falls-side lots, just much cheaper because it's further. Open 6 am – midnight.
Catch: the lot fills by 11 am on summer Saturdays. Arrive before 10 am or after 4 pm.
Botanical Gardens Lot ($5-$10 CAD/day)
Far north on the parkway, near Whirlpool. Cheap parking + visit to the Botanical Gardens / Butterfly Conservatory. WEGO shuttle connects to the falls. Best if you're visiting these gardens anyway.
Canada side — Clifton Hill / private lots
Several private lots run by Falls Avenue Resort, Casino Niagara, and individual operators along Falls Avenue and Clifton Hill. Prices vary widely:
- Casino Niagara garage — $5-$15 CAD/day if you sign up for the free Players Club card. Walking distance to Clifton Hill and the falls (~10 min).
- Falls Avenue Resort lot — $20-$30 CAD/day, walking distance to Clifton Hill
- Random lots advertising "$5 parking" on Murray Street or Ferry Street — usually too far to walk; some require a paid shuttle. Read signs carefully.
US side — Niagara Falls State Park lots
Visitor Center Lot (~$10 USD/day)
Largest State Park lot, closest to Maid of the Mist dock and Niagara Falls Observation Tower. Tour bus parking on the same lot. Fills by noon on summer Saturdays.
Goat Island Lot (~$10 USD/day)
Across the bridge to Goat Island. Closest to Cave of the Winds, Three Sisters Islands, and Terrapin Point (the tip of Goat Island that overlooks the Horseshoe Falls). Smaller; fills first.
Old Fort Niagara Lot (Youngstown, ~$9 USD/day)
North of Niagara Falls itself, at Old Fort Niagara historic site. Only relevant if you're combining a fort visit with a falls stop — it's 30 min north of the falls.
Free street parking (Canada side)
Some residential streets near the falls have free parking with posted time limits (typically 2 hours, weekdays only):
- Stanley Avenue south of Murray — 2-hour limit, 10-15 min walk
- Drummond Road — sporadic free spots
- Murray Hill / Spring Street area — read signs

Goat Island Lot is closest to Cave of the Winds and Three Sisters Islands; the other two are closest to Maid of the Mist and Prospect Point. They fill by 11 am on summer Saturdays.
Where do tour buses park at Niagara Falls?
Canada: tour buses use the Rapidsview Lot (huge dedicated bus area) and shuttle passengers in via the WEGO Red Line. The Falls Avenue tourist district has bus drop-off but no long-term bus parking. US: Niagara Falls State Park has dedicated bus parking at the Visitor Center Lot.

Summer Saturdays: arrive by 10 am to get a spot at Niagara Parks lots (Canada) or by 11 am for State Park lots (US). After noon, lots are full and you queue for spaces opening up. Off-season (Nov-Apr) and weekdays year-round, you can usually park anywhere up to 2 pm without trouble.
